Failures can cost thousands and so it’s important to Sika as a responsible manufacturer that we help minimise the risk of failure as much as possible. By introducing a provisional and registered contractor scheme we can monitor workmanship and conduct to ensure who ever we recommend will deliver a quality installation competitively.
Initially all Sika Waterproofing contractors are listed on the register of provisional contractors. Typically remaining on this list for a minimum of 12 months, this period allows the contracting company to build the core skills required to estimate, procure and install any of the Sika waterproofing range. When on the provisional register contractors list they will attend a product information day and their operatives will have a number of installation assessments on site. Following a satisfactory review of their management systems, and a comprehensive financial review they move to our registered contractor list who we are confident to recommend for projects within the UK.
