Sikagard®-6250

SikaGard®-6250 is a white colored, aromat-free, durable wax with excellent rust-proofing properties. It is suitable for an effective protec-tion against corrosion in vehicle body cavities and convinces with its outstanding application proper-ties and excellent final perfor-mance. SikaGard®-6250 shows self-healing capabilities and is extremely heat resistant. After drying, a white, slightly sticky wax coating remains that protects cavity areas from corrosion. SikaGard®-6250 is manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001 / 14001 quality assurance system.

Usage

SikaGard®-6250 is a spray applied anti-corrosion coating for repair and protection of concealed areas of vehicles such as cavities of door skins, side panels, motor hoods, trunks, rear wing, sills, cross mem-bers and pillars. Due to its very high temperature resistance (up to 180°C), SikaGard®-6250 can also be used for engine conservation.

The product can be sprayed haze free and does not drip off drainage holes.

SikaGard®-6250 shows very good adhesion on different paints, metal primers, metals and PVC without any pre-treatment.

The product is suitable for profes-sional experienced users only. Tests with actual substrates and conditions have to be performed to ensure adhesion and material compatibility.
