FLOORS RASISTANT TO IMPACT AND HEAVY LOADS

The Radomiro Tomic Mining Company is located in Calama, to the North of Chile, at a height of 3,000 meters above sea level. It belongs to the Codelco company. Tomic began its operations in 1995, and currently does open pit copper deposit exploitation for the extraction of oxidized minerals.

PAVEMENTS: SELF-LEVELING AND DAST COMMISSIONING System

Existing pavements needed to be repaired inside the truck shops of the Finning mine truck company, with a self-leveling and fast commissioning system, which was resistant to impacts and heavy loads.

EPOXY PRIMER AND COATING FINISHER

The 4,000 square meter surface solution consisted on the application of an epoxy primer and an epoxy coating finishing layer in RAL 6010 for the truck traffic zones and RAL 7040 in the pedestrian traffic aisles, and yellow painting of the safety zones. Pavement joints were sealed with elastic polyurethane.
