Fibrin 660 F

The Fibrin 660F is a fibrillated polypropylene fibre that reduces the occurrence of plastic shrinkage cracking and plastic settlement whilst enhancing the surface properties and the durability of the hardened cementitious product. The fibres are cut to lengths of 6mm and have a nominal thickness of 50 microns. The fibres are coated with surfactant to improve dispersion and bond.

Fibrin XT

Fibrin XT is a monofilament polypropylene fibre that reduces the occurrence of plastic shrinkage and plastic settlement cracking, whilst enhancing the surface properties and durability of hardened cementitious products. The fibres are coated with surfactant to improve initial dispersion. These fibres are specifically designed to be used as an alternative to Air Entraining Agents. (AEA). Fibrin XT fibres are extremely fine and although slightly visible at the plastic stage, are not readily seen on the hardened surface.

Fibrin XT Ultra

Fibrin XT Ultra is part of a range of monofilament polypropylene fibres designed to reduce the occurrence of plastic shrinkage and plastic settlement cracking, whilst enhancing the surface properties and durability of harden cementitious products. The fibres are extremely fine, single filaments and comprise of blended lengths. The fibres are extremely fine and are not easily seen on the hardened surface. XT Ultra incorporates the usual high performance technical benefits you see with our current fibres, but with the unique benefit that the concretes workability is not affected. These fibres are specially designed to be used as an alternative to Air Entraining Agents. (AEA) and importantly, they have passed the required criteria by
passing 56 cycles of freezing and thawing to PR EN 12390-9.

Fibrin Ignis

ADFIL’s specially designed monofilament fibres are added to the concrete mix for the purpose of increasing permeability during heating, thus reducing pore pressures and the risk of spalling. The fibres will start to melt when the heat generated is approximately 160°C.
When the temperature reaches 360°C the fibres will disintegrate to provide millions of capillaries in the concrete for the moisture to escape. Therefore there is no build up of pressure and hence no explosive spalling.
Furthermore, polypropylene fibres offer a three – dimensional system, which helps to prevent shrinkage cracks from occurring. The fibres increase the tensile strain capacity of the mix at the plastic stage whilst crack control reinforcement would merely hold the cracks together once the concrete has failed. Polypropylene fibres should not be used as an alternative to primary of structural reinforcement.

Fibrin PC 12

Fibrin PC12 fibres have been specifically manufactured so that it can be added to self-compacting concretes and screeds. The fibres reduce the occurrence of plastic
shrinkage cracking, increase the hardened state properties, such as impact and abrasion resistance, but do not affect the rheology or flow of the concrete or screed.


The Fibrin PC12 fibres are fine single monofilaments which are coated with a surfactant to improve the initial dispersion within the cementitious matrix. The fibres can sometimes be seen at the plastic stage but are not readily seen on the hardened surface.

Fibremesh® 150-12mm, formerly known as Stealth®12mm, micro-reinforcement fibres for concrete are 100 percent virgin homoploymer polypropylene monofilament fibres containing no reprocessed olefin materials.

Fibremesh® 150-12mm micro-synthetic fibres are European Standard EN 14889-2:2006 compliant and have been specifically engineered and manufactured in an ISO 9001-2000 certified facility for use as concrete reinforcement at the recommended dosage rate of 0.9kg per cubic metre (0.1% by volume) for effective performance.
