Responsibilities & Opportunities

Sika is looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join it’s growing team. You will play a key role in:

  • Managing maintenance of the Lakewood facility, including building, infrastructure, and equipment.
  • Developing and implementing a strong Preventive Maintenance system while actively monitoring work performed and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Managing and optimizing the Maintenance department, including workforce, labor, and materials.
  • Facilitating, coaching, and training manufacturing teams to ensure proper equipment maintenance.
  • Executing company policies regarding Safety, Purchasing, Regulatory compliance, and Labor Relations.
  • Coordinating responsibility for achieving and maintaining ISO14000, RC9001, QS9000, and TS16949 certifications in engineering, maintenance, and process areas.
  • Establishing goals and performance standards for personnel, providing training and professional development.
  • Supporting manufacturing operations with review of technical and business issues.

Preferred Skills

Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical); advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years' experience in chemical and industrial environments, including project management
  • Excellent communication and employee relations skills at all levels
  • Knowledge of chemical industry, manufacturing processes, and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong technical understanding, analysis, and problem-solving skills
