Sika® Pinkgrip Dryfix® FR

Fast cure foam adhesive for rapid installation

Pinkgrip Dryfix® FR is a fast curing foam adhesive that has been specially developed for the rapid installation of plasterboard, insulation boards, roof decking and floorboards. Supplied in a pressurised canister, Pinkgrip Dryfix® FR can be applied with the Sika® Pinkgrip Dryfix® Applicator Gun or standard applicator nozzle.

  • 30 % time saving over conventional dry wall adhesives.
  • Board needs to be supported for only one minute.

Shelf Life

12 months from date of manufacture (see base of can for expiry date) when stored in original unopened cans between +15 and +20 °C in a vertical position.  Always keep can upright.  Once opened, shelf life is reduced to one month from first use.

Application steps

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

  • Shake can well, about 20 times before using (and oc-Shake can well before use (20 times) and ocasionally during use.
  • Surfaces must be clean, sound and dust free, ensure metals are free from any grease or oils.
 
  • Only apply in temperature range +2 °C to +25 °C.
  • Turn can upside down and screw gun carefully onto the black adaptor of the can.
  • Must only be applied using a Sika® Pinkgrip Dryfix® Applicator Gun or supplied nozzle.

CLEANING OF TOOLS

Excess adhesive or spillages can be removed whilstExcess adhesive or spillages that are still wet can be removed by using Everbuild® Dual Purpose Foam Cleaner.
Use Everbuild® Dual Purpose Foam Cleaner to keep the nib of the gun clean during use, and before storage. To clean the applicator nozzle, remove from the can and spray with Everbuild® Dual Purpose Foam Cleaner. Always ensure the valve is cleaned thoroughly. Sika® Wonder Wipes will remove wet and semi-cured foam from hands and most surfaces.

Dispose of this material and its container to hazardous or special waste collection point.
