EVERBUILD® 408 Super Seal

high performance solvent based water repellent

EVERBUILD® 408 Super Seal is a spirit based transparent water repellent, formulated to prevent attack by water penetration on brick, stone, concrete, plaster, rendering etc. EVERBUILD® 408 Super Seal penetrates deep into the treated area to provide effective repellency for many years. Dries clear. Can be applied by spray, brush or roller.

Usage

As an effective water repellent on:
  • Brick
  • Stone
  • Render
  • Masonry

Consumption

Coverage will vary depending on the porosity of the substrate.  As a quick guide, brick coverage will be approx. 5 sq. metres per litre for the first coat, 8 sq. metres per litre for the second coat.

 
Application steps

APPLICATION

Shake can well before use.  Apply by low pressure spray, brush or roller.

NOTE:  THIS PRODUCT WILL DRY CLEAR.

On vertical surfaces, saturate the wall working from the bottom up, ensuring the entire surface is covered.  On horizontal surfaces, flood the entire area then after 10 minutes, spread out with a soft brush, roller or mop to ensure the entire area is covered.

Two coats are normally required; the second coat being applied within 1 hour – as soon as the first coat has soaked in and whilst the surface is still wet.  Clean brushes, rollers and spray equipment with white spirits IMMEDIATELY after use.

DRYING TIME – Approx. 1-2 hours; depending on air temperature.
