EVERBUILD® Wet Rot Wood Hardener

Deep penetrating solution for reinforcing decaying wood

EVERBUILD® Wet Rot Wood Hardener is a highly penetrative solution of selected resins in solvent which soaks deep into the fibers of decaying wood and dries to leave the wood hard and resistant to further moisture penetration. The resin-modified wood then becomes an ideal base for repair with EVERBUILD 2 PART HIGH PERFORMANCE WOOD FILLER. The solution is dry in 6 hours and is suitable for interior and exterior use providing a cost-effective alternative to replacing joinery affected by wet rot.

Usage

  • Repairing wood damaged by wet rot (in conjunction with EVERBUILD 2 PART HIGH PERFORMANCE WOOD FILLER in both interior and exterior applications).
  • Strengthening and reinforcing both softwood and hardwood.

Application steps

APPLICATION

Shake can and decant solution into a suitable container. Apply by brush until the area is completely
saturated. An enhanced hardening effect may be achieved by drilling small holes in the wood to give
deeper penetration. Allow drying and removing excess hardener with a wire brush. Fill area with
EVERBUILD 2 PART HIGH PERFORMANCE WOOD FILLER and sand, stain or paint as required.

CLEANING OF TOOLS

Cleaning: All tools should be cleaned immediately after use with cellulose thinners
