Sikafloor®-360 Level Fibre

Fibre Modified Self Levelling Compound 

Sikafloor®-360 Level Fibre is a fibre modified, cement based, protein free powder. When mixed with water, Sikafloor®-360 Level Fibre can be used to level out uneven floors and screeds from 3-60 mm in depth. Suitable for the embedment of underfloor heating. Sikafloor®-360 Level Fibre already contains powdered polymer, eliminating the need for separate expensive latex liquids. When mixed as directed, Sikafloor®-360 Level Fibre provides a free-flowing mix that sets in just 4 hours and can be overlaid after only 8 hours at normal temperatures.

Consumption

20 kg of Sikafloor®-360 Level Fibre mixed with 3.4 litres of water will cover approximately 4.3 m2 at a depth of 3 mm. This figure may vary due to surface area, porosity, surface profile, variations in level or wastage etc.
Application steps

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

  • Concrete/screed should be at least 28 days old.
  • The surface must be dry, clean, structurally sound and possess an effective damp proof membrane.
  • The surface should be free from grease, dust and loose particles.
  • The ambient air temperature needs to be +5 °C to +20 °C.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

  • Always prepare floors by dampening with clean water then priming with SikaBond® PVA+ or SikaBond® SBR+ 1 part to 3 parts clean water for wood, cement-based or substrates with low or limited porosity.
  • For highly porous substrates 2 coats of primer should be used the first diluted 1 part to 4 with clean water and allowed to dry before applying the second.
  • For existing glazed tiling and asphalt always degrease and roughen up the existing tiling or asphalt prior to laying this product.
  • For timber floors screw down all flooring securely at 300 mm centres.
  •  Mix Sikafloor®-360 Level Fibre with clean water as directed and apply to sub-floor whilst the bonding coat is still tacky.

MIXING

  • Mix Sikafloor®-360 Level Fibre with clean water only.
  • 20 kg of Sikafloor®-360 Level Fibre will require 3.4 litres of water. Always add the powder to water.  DO NOT USE EXCESS WATER.
  • Mix in a suitable clean container using a mechanical mixer with a spiral mixing paddle at slow seed until fully mixed and a smooth consistency is achieved.

APPLICATION

  • Pour the mixture out into the prepared floor and allow it to find its own level. Trowel down lightly to achieve an overall thickness not exceeding 60 mm.
  • Where further finishing is required, allow the surface to stiffen (45- 60 minutes) after application. Lightly sprinkle surface with water and carefully trowel to produce a smooth appearance.
  • Additional layers, each not exceeding 60 mm, may be applied to achieve the required depth only when the first coat is dry (8 hours minimum @ 20 °C).  Prime with SikaBond® PVA+ or SikaBond® SBR+ 1 part to 3 parts water between layers.
 

CLEANING OF TOOLS

Clean tools in water after use before compound hardens. Wash hands immediately after using this product with soap and water.

What pack sizes are available?

Sikafloor®-360 is available in 20 kg bags, with a pallet quantity of 50 bags.

What substrates is Sikafloor®-360 compatible with?

It can be applied over concrete, sand/cement screeds, asphalt, timber (secured at 300 mm centres), and even existing ceramic or thermoplastic tiles with proper surface preparation and priming.

Is Sikafloor®-360 suitable for underfloor heating systems?

Absolutely. Its heat-resistant formulation makes it ideal for embedding electric or water-based underfloor heating pipes or cables.

Do I need to add latex to Sikafloor®-360?

No. The product is polymer-modified, so there’s no need for additional latex or additives.

What product does Sikafloor®-360 replace?

Sikafloor®-360 Level Fibre replaces the Everbuild 720 Febflor FibrePlus, which has now been discontinued. It is the same formulation as its predecessor but with the added benefit of being under the Sikafloor brand.

How thick can Sikafloor®-360 be applied?

You can apply Sikafloor®-360 at thicknesses between 3 mm and 60 mm in a single pour, with no need for layering.

Yes, Sikafloor®-360 is formulated with added polymer and fibres to provide flexibility and crack resistance, making it ideal for use over securely fixed timber subfloors.

What is the drying time for Sikafloor®-360?

Sikafloor®-360 is walkable after just 4 hours and can accept most floor coverings in 8 hours, depending on conditions.

What primer should I use with Sikafloor®-360?

Use SikaBond® PVA+ or SikaBond® SBR+, diluted as specified in the product data sheet, depending on the substrate type.

Is Sikafloor®-360 CE marked?
