Fix and fill multipurpose expanding foam

Sika Boom® Expanding Foam is a fast-setting, one-part polyurethane expanding foam designed for quick, efficient fixing, filling and sealing. It expands up to 150 % after application of the applied bead dimensions to fill gaps, cracks, and irregular spaces with ease. Once cured, it can be cut, sawn, or plastered in just one hour. It effectively fills wide or irregular gaps where traditional fillers fail, and it provides reliable insulating and sound-deadening performance. Sika Boom® Expanding Foam is supplied with attachable nozzles for easy hand application.

Shelf Life

15 months from date of manufacture (see base of can) when stored in stated temperature conditions. Once opened, shelf life reduces to one month from first use.

Storage Conditions

Store upright between +5 °C and +25 °C. Pressurized container. Protect from sunlight and do not expose to temperatures above +50 °C. Do not pierce or burn the can even after use. Store as flammable liquid. Note: Elevated temperatures will reduce shelf life dramatically.

Application steps

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

Ensure all surfaces are clean, sound and free from dust and loose particles. Moisten surfaces to be sealed
with water. This assists the curing process.
