How to Use Sika® FastFix All Weather
Transform your paving, paths and patio projects with Sika FastFix
TOOLS & EQUIPMENT
All you need is:
- A soft brush or hand brush
- A pointing tool
- A hose pipe with a spray nozzle
- A stiff broom for cleaning
- Tape Measure
- Spirit Level
- PPE: Boots, Jacket, Glasses & Gloves
Preparation
Make ensure the paving is securely installed on a good foundation that is completely cured and permeable with good drainage. Allowing water to drain through.
Good drainage is key, as the product only cures when dry.
Tip: Supplied in 2 separate bags for ease of application
Gaps / Joints
Joints must maintain a minimum depth of 20 mm and a width of 5 mm.
Before applying Sika FastFix All Weather jointing compound ensure you keep joints and paving free from standing water, dirt, debris and weeds.

Step by Step Guide
Step 1: Wetting the Area
Thoroughly wet the entire application area, including joints and slabs.
Allow any standing water to drain before applying Sika FastFix® All Weather.
Step 2: Joint Filling
Remove the product from the packaging and cut the foil pack. Spread in small, manageable areas. Working into the joints using a soft broom or hand brush.
Until all joints are completely and evenly filled
Do not leave in a pile for more than 1 hour as it will begin to cure.
Step 3: Compaction
When all joints are evenly filled fully compact the compound using a pointing tool.
Top up, and compact again where necessary ensuring the joint is completely full.
Step 4: Setting
Leave to set
Dry Weather: >15 degrees - Setting starts in 6-12 hours
Wet weather: 4-15 degrees - Allow longer setting time
Leftover Storage
Any leftover compound can be stored in the bucket for a month as long as it is completely covered in water.
