Cromar® Acrypol Flexiglass Primer

Primer for Acrypol Flexiglass system.

Cromar® Acrypol Flexiglass Primer is a high quality white liquid primer based on isophthalic unsaturated polyester resin, specifically developed for use as the priming component of the Acrypol Flexiglass System.
It prepares and encapsulates suitable substrates to ensure optimum adhesion and performance.

Usage

  • Primer coat within the Acrypol Flexiglass GRP roofing system.
  • External flat roof waterproofing and refurbishment.
  • Suitable for use over multiple clean, secure and dry substrates when installed as part of the Flexiglass system.
The Acrypol Flexiglass GRP roofing system system is certified as BRoof (T4) for use on cement-particle board in accordance with the procedures given in the standard EN 13501-5:2016.

4 - 6 months

Storage Conditions

Store away from any direct sunlight in the original, factory sealed airtight containers. Avoid storing outdoors. Store below +20 ⁰C but freezing conditions must be avoided. The shelf life & properties of the Cromar® Acrypol Flexiglass Primer can be adversely affected by incorrect storage conditions.
Only open containers immediately before use & close airtight after use.

Application steps

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Pre-install:

  • Make sure the substrate is stable, clean and dry.
  • Avoid moisture at all times.
  • Do not apply below +5 oC or above +30 oC.

Priming:

  • Agitate the Cromar® Acrypol Flexiglass Primer thoroughly with the least amount of turbulence.
  • Add required amount of catalyst paste to Cromar® Acrypol Flexiglass Primer depending on temperature and quantity needed (Refer to catalyst usage chart for more information).
  • Stir catalyst paste in thoroughly.
  • Apply 500 g (350 ml)/ m2 to substrate using a roller.
  • Leave Cromar® Acrypol Flexiglass Primer to set.
