Cromar® Lead Fixing Clips

Fixing clips for use with Leadax Original and Leadax Easy FA.

For use with above ground masonry, the fixing clips allow you to attach Leadax Original into masonry joints quickly and easily. Also suitable for use with lead.

Usage

Flashing fixing clips are designed for securing alternative flashing into chase joints on brickwork and masonry. They provide a quick, secure, and durable fixing without the need for traditional lead wedges. Suitable for use with both traditional lead sheet and lead alternatives such as Leadax Original, the clips ensure consistent fixing performance and long-term weather protection.

Application steps

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

  • Insert the clip into the chase joint with the prongs facing the brickwork.
  • Once fully inserted, ensure the lead / lead alternative flashing is held firmly in place.
  • Apply lead sealant to point the area and provide weatherproof sealing.
  • Repeat at approximately 450 mm intervals along the flashing.
