Do not drag rolls across rough surfaces, always lift. Rolls should be stored upright on a dry surface. During colder periods it is recommended that rolls are stored in a temperature above + 10 °C for 24 hours prior to use. During storage exposure to direct sunlight is to be avoided. Do
not use in temperatures below + 5 °C.

As Underlay;

• Ensure the deck is dry, clean, sound and free from dust, debris and sharp projections.
• Suitable for use on plywood, OSB3, concrete and existing bituminous membranes (if well-bonded).
• Apply only in dry weather with temperatures above +5 °C.
• Unroll the membrane and allow it to relax before installation.
• Align the roll and re-roll before torching for accurate placement.
• Heat the underside with a roofing torch, ensuring the bitumen forms a visible melt pattern/bead at the lap edge.
• Press the sheet firmly into place using a broom or roller to ensure full bond.
• Side laps: 75 mm minimum.
• End laps: 100 mm minimum.
• Stagger end laps between adjacent rolls.
• Avoid overheating; the membrane should be heated until bitumen begins to flow, not burn.
• Ensure continuous bonding around details such as upstands, penetrations, drips and verges.
• Use only with compatible torch-on capsheets as part of a built-up system.

As Capsheet;

• Install over a suitable, fully bonded torch-on underlay, aligned in the fall direction.
• Ensure the underlay is dry and clean before applying the capsheet.
• Unroll and allow the sheet to relax for easier handling.
• Re-roll and torch the underside evenly, creating a consistent bitumen bleed (approx. 5-10 mm) at the lap edge.
• Side laps: 75 mm minimum, heated and sealed to full width.
• End laps: 100 mm minimum, offset from underlay laps and adjacent sheets.
• Avoid trapping air, apply pressure to ensure full adhesion and no voids.
• When using mineral-finish capsheets, scrape back the mineral at laps to ensure proper bonding.
• For vertical or detail work, heat both the substrate and the membrane for strong adhesion.
• Use a hot-air gun around heat-sensitive details where open flame is unsuitable.
• Check for full seal and uniform bleed along all laps after installation.  

• Allow completed areas to cool before trafficking.

• Not suitable for installation in wet, icy or very windy conditions that may affect bonding.
