Dry fix verge and connector.

Provides a clean, traditional slate verge finish while eliminating maintenance issues associated with mortar.
Mortar free dry fix verge system designed for natural and man made slates up to 6 mm thick.

Application steps

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

  • Ensure battens are installed flush to the gable edge.
  • Fix verge directly on top of battens, allowing 50 mm gutter overhang (trimming may be required). 
  • After verge is set out, lay and fix slates into the overlap of the verge unit.
  • The connector must be used whenever the verge run exceeds 2 m. 
  • Insert the connector between adjoining verge lengths to maintain alignment and continuity. 
  • Apply a small bead of clear waterproof sealant at the joint to ensure weather protection. 
  • Continue installing the remaining verge lengths, ensuring each section is properly seated within the connector
