Full Terms & Conditions

1. Background
1.1. The promoter of this competition is Sika Limited (“Sika”). Registered address: Watchmead, Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, AL7 1BQ.
1.2. This is a free promotional competition. Scratchcards are given away for free by Sika Limited (or, with Sika’s consent by other authorised persons or entities) and will be available on 7th September 2024 from 12 noon and no later than 7pm.
1.3. The promotion will run at Sandy Park Stadium, Sandy Park Way, Exeter, Devon, EX2 7NN.
1.4. Entry is open to Participants of all ages in the United Kingdom. This excludes:
(a) Employees participating in the promotion, employees or agency staff working for the promoter or companies associated with the competition, which includes but not limited to the supplier the prizes have been purchased from and any associated party;
(b) A spouse, partner, parent, guardian, child or sibling of a person referenced within the (a) above; and
(c) Anyone who is in breach of the competition terms and conditions of this promotion. Sika Limited is responsible for determining the eligibility of Participants with absolute discretion.
1.5. Participants under 18 years old should obtain permission in advance from their parent or guardian. Each person under 18 seeking to redeem a winning Scratchcard must be accompanied by at least one adult (18+ years).


2. Your Responsibilities
2.1. You are responsible for keeping your Scratchcard safe and in good condition. On receiving a Scratchcard, You must check that the Scratchcard has not been scratched off, damaged, mutilated, altered or tampered with, and that it is not a Defective Scratchcard. If it is any of these, You should give it back to a Sika employee and request a different Scratchcard.
2.2. The Scratchcard must always be presented when claiming a Prize or Gift. If You do not present the Scratchcard, the Prize or Gift will not be given.
2.3. You are also responsible for claiming (and checking You receive) the correct Prize or Gift You are entitled to.


3. Ownership of Scratchcards
3.1. Only one Participant can be the owner of a Scratchcard for the purposes of these Rules.
3.2. Subject to these Rules:
a) if a name and address is written on the back of the Scratchcard, for the purposes of these Rules, the owner of the Scratchcard will be the person whose name and address is stated; and
b) if no name and address is written on the back of a Scratchcard (and until the time that there is) the owner of that Scratchcard for the purpose of these Rules will be the person who holds the Scratchcard.

4. Available Prizes and Gifts
4.1. Sika Limited are giving the Participants the opportunity to win:
a) 1 of 5 Exeter Chiefs 2024/25 season shirt; or
b) 1 of 40 Drink vouchers (subject to availability); or
c) 1 of 20 £10 off an Exeter Chiefs 2024/25 season shirt.
4.2. You must scratch the panel on the front of the card to reveal your winning prize (if any).

5. Claiming a Prize or Gift
5.1. A Scratchcard is considered a winning card if it reveals one of the available Gifts or Prize (i.e. an Exeter Chiefs Home shirt or a £10 off an Exeter Chiefs season shirt voucher or a drink voucher) as outlined in Clause 4 above.
5.2. The £10 discount and drink vouchers are only valid until 7pm on 07/09/24.
5.3. Participants must hand in their winning card to the vendor at the stadium to receive a free drink of their choosing (subject to availability). Alcoholic beverages and soft drinks are available to choose from. Participants under 18 years old are eligible for a soft drink only.
5.4. Participants must hand in their winning card to the Exeter Club shop to claim their Prize.
5.5. Each Participant is limited to winning a maximum of one Prize/Gift per person. If a Participant holds multiple winning Scratchcards, they will only be eligible to claim one Prize/Gift. Any additional winning cards held by the same Participant will be invalidated.
5.6. Sika Limited reserves the right to refuse to accept Scratchcards which we believe have been already redeemed.
5.7. Winners must present their winning Scratchcard to claim their Prize/Gift. All claims must be made at the event, and no later than 7th September 2024, 7pm.
5.8. Any Prize/Gifts not claimed within the specified timeframe will be forfeited.
5.9. A Prize/Gift will not be awarded to You unless and until the relevant Scratchcard has been validated by a Sika Limited or Exeter Chief employee (as applicable).
5.10. In certain situations, Sika Limited may be required to make decisions which affect You. Provided these decisions are made reasonably by Sika Limited, they will be final and binding.

6. Limitation of Liability
6.1. Sika Limited will not be responsible for:
a) loss, theft, mutilation, destruction or degradation of, or damage to, any Scratchcard; or
b) any mistakes or omissions in respect of data recorded or not recorded on any Scratchcard; or
c) any loss of whatever nature suffered or incurred by any person as a result of any of the above affecting the Scratchcard.
6.2. If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of Sika Limited and which prevents Sika Limited from complying with these terms and conditions, Sika Limited will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation.
6.3. Sika Limited and its associated companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential losses or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person's negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using a Prize or Gift, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death, fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the maximum extent allowable by law.
6.4. You acknowledge and agree that You do not rely on, and shall have no remedy in respect of, any statement, representation or warranty (in each case whether negligently or innocently made) or understanding of any person whether or not that person is a party to these Rules.
6.5. Any pictures depicting the Prize or Gifts on any media are indicative only and the actual Prize or Gift may vary from the depictions.
6.6. Sika Limited is not liable for third party products.

7. General
7.1. Sika Limited may take photos of the winners and request the winners consent to post their photos on various social media platforms and websites. Participation is at the winner’s discretion and is not a condition of accepting the Prize or Gift.
7.2. Sika Limited reserves the right in its sole discretion to refuse to issue any Prize or Gift to an individual that corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the promotion.
7.3. If, for any reason, any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned beyond the control of Sika Limited, Sika Limited may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, or invalidate any affected Scratchcards.
7.4. Sika Limited may suspend or terminate the promotion at their discretion.
7.5. If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid, or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
7.6. These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials.
7.7. Entry and claim instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by participating, Participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
7.8. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held invalid by any law, rule, order or regulation of any government, or by the final determination of any court of a competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the enforceability of any other provisions not held to be invalid.
7.9. This promotion and all issues arising out of it shall be governed in accordance with English law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

8. Definitions
8.1. The following words and terms will have the meanings given to them below when used within these Rules (unless the context clearly indicates otherwise).
You: A member of the public who receives a Scratchcard as part of the promotional event.
Scratchcard: Any Scratchcard issued by Sika Limited or an authorised third party with Sika’s consent.
Prize: An Exeter Chiefs Home shirt.
Gift: A £10 discount or drink voucher.
Participant: Has the same meaning as You.
