Quick drying, professional Wood Stain

EVERBUILD® Wood Stain Satin is a professional wood stain that enhances the natural qualities of wood, and provides long lasting protection.The weatherproof protection provided also gives a crack and peel resistant finish and excellent resistance to ultra violet light degradation. Under normal weathering conditions EVERBUILD® Wood Stain Satin can be expected to provide protection for up to 5 Years. Maintenance Clear Coat is also available to improve the look of wood without altering the colour.

Usage

Ideal for use on smooth planed exterior and interior timber, such as doors, window frames, architectural timbers, conservatories, cladding & garden furniture etc.

Chemical Base

Advanced acrylic polymer emulsion

Shelf Life

2 years from date of manufacture when stored as directed.

Storage Conditions

Store in cool dry conditions between + 5 °C and +40 °C.  Storage outside these conditions will dramatically reduce shelf life. PROTECT FROM FROST.

1500 - 2500 cPs @ +20 °C (Brookfield RVT 4, 20 rpm)

Coverage of up to 20 square metres per litre. Coverage will vary depending on the absorbency of the wood.

 
Application steps

MIXING

Stir product well before use and intermittently during application.

 

APPLICATION

Brush apply EVERBUILD® Wood Stain Satin, always following the direction of the wood grain. Approximately 3 coats will be required for full benefits and performance. Product is touch dry in 30 minutes, allow to dry for 4 hours in between coats, and lightly sand the surface before applying the final coat taking care to only sand very lightly around edges.

Always apply the stain to a wet edge, working systematically across the surface keeping the wet edge moving together as much as possible. After applying to an area the finished appearance will be improved by feather brushing over the entire area with an unloaded brush taking care to follow the wood grain.When re-coating on darker shades of stain, Maintenance Clear Coat can be used to refresh the coat without further darkening the surface (check compatibility, and lightly abrade).

CLEANING OF TOOLS

Clean brushes with water after use, a little washing up liquid will assist brush cleaning.
