Vinsol resin, air entraining mortar plasticiser.

Feb® Febmix Admix® - The Original vinsol resin air entraining plasticiser that replaces lime in the mix to provide an easy to work “butter like” consistency to the mortar and to minimise shrinkage, cracking and crazing during the setting process. For use in brick laying and plastering mortars. Provides a degree of frost resistance and long term resistance to freeze-thaw cycles when set.

Usage

Feb® Febmix Admix® - The Original is an admixture for mortars that improves the workability of bricklaying and plastering mortars and significantly increases their resistance to freeze/thaw cycles.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Application

Feb® Febmix Admix® - The Original may either be pre-mixed with gauging water in a storage tank or introduced into the mixing drum at the same time as the water. When mortar is mixed by hand it should be well turned over to achieve maximum plasticity.

Dosage

Feb® Febmix Admix® - The Original is added at the rate of approx 125-250 ml per 50 kg of cement. Always use the type of sand recommended for a particular application. Test mixes should be carried out to determine optimum dosage.

Compatibility

Feb® Febmix Admix® - The Original can be used with other admixtures provided these are added separately to the mix. It can be used for all types of Portland cement, including Sulphate Resisting. It can also be used in lime/sand mortars as a further precaution against frost.
