What is Sika® Plumbers Gold?
Sika® Plumbers Gold is a versatile adhesive and sealant specially formulated for plumbing and sanitary applications. Its advanced polymer technology ensures robust performance in all conditions, including wet surfaces and can be applied under water. With superior mould resistance and compatibility with diverse materials, it's a must-have for professionals and DIY enthusiasts.
Where can I use it?
- Sealing Leaks: Effective for sealing around pipes, taps, and leaks in wet conditions, including underwater repairs.
- Bathrooms: Ideal for bonding and sealing baths, showers, sinks, toilets with long-lasting anti-mould protection.
- Kitchens: Seals joints around worktops, sinks, splashbacks ensuring a clean and watertight finish. Ideal for sealing and bedding extractor fans.
- Plumbing Repairs: Bonds and seals connections, fittings, and joints in pipework and drainage systems.

What do I need?
Clean cloth
Knife
Mild detergent or surface cleaner
Masking tape (optional)
Using as a Sealant
How to Prepare
Clean: Ensure surfaces are clean and free from dust, grease, old sealant, or debris.
Mask: If using as a sealant, apply masking tape to edges so achieve clean lines.
How to Apply
Prepare the Cartridge: Use a knife to cut the tip of the cartridge. Attach the nozzle and cut to a size slightly larger than the gap being sealed.
Apply Sealant: For a professional finish, apply with even pressure on the sealant gun trigger and keep at a constant angle.
Finish: To achieve a strong bond, smooth down with water using the Everbuild Smooth Out Tool, spatula, or piece of wood. If using, carefully remove masking tape within 5 minutes of application.

Clean: Ensure surfaces are clean and free from dust, grease, old sealant, or debris.
How to Apply
Step 1: Prepare the Cartridge
Cut the tip of the cartridge and attach the nozzle.
Step 2: Apply
Cut the tip of the cartridge and attach the nozzle.
Step 3: Finish
Position the item, pressing firmly with even pressure and a slight twisting motion to ensure full contact.For heavier items, use temporary support until the adhesive is fully dried.
Cleaning Up
Remove uncured product with Sika® Wonder Wipes or a dampened cloth with White Spirit.
If cured product remains, carefully remove using the blade of a knife.
