Sika is proud to announce its attendance as an exhibitor and presenter at the ‘Joining in Car Body Engineering’ conference, April 16-18 in Bad Nauheim, Germany.

At the Sika booth, you will have the opportunity to meet and interact with our experts. We will be highlighting SikaPower® product portfolio, which includes a full panel of 1C and 2C products for structural joining. Regardless of the customer's requirements concerning structural adhesives, whether it's related to their performance specifications, the type of body-in-white materials, or the assembly concept in the body shop (ranging from normal bake to no bake), Sika has a tailored solution to meet their needs.


Our Sika experts will also be delivering insightful presentations. Denise Storrer (R&D department leader) and Antonio Voci (Product Manager) will be presenting on ‘Bonding solutions for the battery case as an integrated part of the car body structure’. The presentation will highlight challenges of battery case design and process, and the impact on the joining solutions. The different type of adhesives and technologies for room temperature curing will be a key point of discussion. In addition, David Guitton (R&D project leader) will be involved in a joint presentation entitled ‘Elementary adhesive bonding for car body construction – an interdisciplinary collaboration’. The presentation will address the potential of induction pre-curing as an alternative to conventional joining solutions.
