SikaWall®-5400 Exposed Aggregate

EWI Dry Dash Receiver

SikaWall®-5400 Exposed Aggregate is a factory batched polymer modified dry mix through coloured render. This product is used as a dry dash receiver on render only and a number of Sika insulation systems, this product only requires the addition of clean potable water; no other material should be added. 

  • Forms part of a number of accredited insulation systems.
  • Suitable for one coat application.

Consumption

When applied to a correctly prepared even substrate at a thickness of 8-10 mm (recommended thickness). A 25 kg bag approximately covers 2 m2.
Application steps

SUBSTRATE QUALITY

Suitable Substrates

  • SikaWall®-100 Base Coat.
  • SikaWall®-1015 Coat.

Unsuitable Substrates

  • Painted surfaces.
  • Non polymer modified base coats.

MIXING

MIXING 
A 25 kg bag of SikaWall®-5400 Exposed Agsregate should be:

  • Mixed with 5.5 L of clean potable water no other material should be added.
  • Mixed by a concrete mixer or paddle mixer.
  • Mix for approximately five minutes.
  • Care should be taken not to over mix or over trowel.
