Sikalastic® Rapid Cleaner

Pre-treatment for non-absorbent surfaces and cleaner for tools

Sikalastic® Rapid Cleaner is used to clean/remove residue of Sikalastic® Rapid PMMA resins from tools. It is also used to clean metal and non-absorbent substrates before Sikalastic® Rapid PMMA resins waterproofing and surfacing systems are applied.
Sikalastic® Rapid Cleaner must never be used as a thinner for Sikalastic® Rapid products.

Storage Conditions

Store the cleaning agent in its original packaging, sealed so it is airtight, and in a cool, dry place and far from sources of heat and ignition. Direct sunlight on the containers should be avoided, including on site. After removing some of the contents, reseal the containers so they are airtight.

The product should only be used in the open air or in well ventilated interiors. Seal the container again so it is airtight immediately after using the cleaner.

Application steps

MIXING

For cleaning tools
Tools should be cleaned thoroughly with the cleaner and a brush directly after they have been used for Sikalastic® Rapid PMMA liquid products. Simply immersing the Tools in the Cleaner will not prevent the material from hardening.


For cleaning metal and non-absorbent substrates
Pour Sikalastic® Rapid Cleaner onto a lint-free cloth and rub down the surfaces. The cleaning agent must have dried completely before Sikalastic® Rapid PMMA liquid products are applied.
