Sika® Fibermesh®-150

MICRO-SYNTHETIC MONOFILAMENT FIBRE

Sika® Fibermesh®-150, micro-reinforcement system for concrete is manufactured with 100 percent virgin polypropylene monofilament fibers. Specifically engineered and manufactured in an ISO 9001 certified manufacturing facility.  Sika® Fibermesh®-150 is designed to control plastic shinkage and settlement cracking in concrete.  Sika® Fibermesh®-150 was previously SikaFiber PPM.

Usage

Sika® Fibermesh®-150 act mechanically by supporting the aggregate within the concrete with multidimensional fibre network and developing a uniform bleed system.  The fibre does not affect the curing process and does not absorb water.  Sika® Fibermesh®-150 can be used in all types of concrete applications to control plastic shrinkage and settlement cracking.  Typical applications include:
  • Ground-supported slabs
  • Residential applications: pavements, driveways, curbs
  • Precast elements,
  • Overlays / toppings
  • Shotcrete
  • Roads / Pavements
  • Bridge Decks

Packaging

Sika® Fibermesh®-150 fibers are available in a variety of packaging options.  The bags are packed into cartons and palletized.

When stored in dry conditions shelf life is 5 years

Sika® Fibermesh®-150 should be stored in a dry environment. Protect product from the rain.

Recommended Dosage

The dosage of the Sika® Fibermesh®-150 will vary according to the type of application and performance requirements.  Standard recommended dosage of Sika® Fibermesh®-150 is 0.6 - 0.9 kg/m3 of concrete.  Dosages outside the recommended dosage range can be used to meet project specific requirements.  If this is the case please contact your Sika representative for technical support.
