Sika® Fibermesh®-150 (GB)

MICRO-SYNTHETIC MONOFILAMENT FIBRE

Sika® Fibermesh®-150 (GB) micro reinforcement system for concrete - 100 percent virgin polypropylene monofilament fibres. Specifically engineered and manufactured in an ISO 9001 certified manufacturing facility. Sika® Fibermesh®-150 (GB) is designed to control plastic shinkage and settlement cracking in concrete. Sika® Fibermesh®-150 (GB) was previously SikaFiber PPM.

Usage

Sika® Fibermesh®-150 (GB) act mechanically by supporting the aggregate within the concrete with multidimensional fibre network and developing a uniform bleed
system. The fibre does not affect the curing process and does not absorb water. Sika® Fibermesh®-150 (GB) can be used in all types of concrete applications to control plastic shrinkage and settlement cracking.  Typical applications include:

Application Information

Dispensing

Sika® Fibermesh®-150 (GB) in degradable bags can be added directly to the concrete mixing system after the batching of the other ingredients and mixed for 4 to 5 minutes or 70 revolutions.
Application
The addition of Sika® Fibermesh®-150 (GB) at the recommended dosage rates does not require any mix design or application changes. The fibre concrete can be mixed, sprayed or placed using conventional equipment.
Finishing
Sika® Fibermesh®-150 (GB) can be finished by most standard finishing techiques.
