Sika® ViscoCrete®-6010 MK

High Range Water Reducing/Superplasticising Admixture for Concrete Incorporating Calcined Clay or Metakaolin

Sika® ViscoCrete®-6010 MK is a liquid superplasticiser admixture for concrete, formulated using polycarboxylate polymer technology to enable high-range water reduction. It is suitable for concrete containing calcined clay or metakaolin supplementary cementitious material (SCM).  Sika® ViscoCrete®-6010 MK can be used to produce low water/binder ratios with extended workability retention.

Compatibility

Sika® ViscoCrete®-6010 MK is compatible with most other Sika® admixtures. Please confirm with Sika Technical Department.

DISPENSING

Sika® ViscoCrete®-6010 MK should be dispensed through suitable, calibrated equipment.

 
Consumption

Recommended Dosage

0.2-1.0 % by weight of binder.  Dosages outside this range should be verified by trials.
Application steps

MIXING

Sika® ViscoCrete®-6010 MK is added to the gauging water or added with it into the concrete mixer. Sika® ViscoCrete®-6010 MK may also be added into the readymix truck on site. When added on site the truck mixer shall rotate its drums at maximum speed for at least 1 minute per m³ concrete and a minimum of 5 minutes to achieve a uniform mix.
