Sikafloor®-140 W Troweling Primer

Bonding agent for SikaScreed® HardTop Systems

Sikafloor®-140 W Troweling Primer is a patented bonding agent for SikaScreed® HardTop systems. It improves resistance to peeling, enlarges the time for coating and reduces the dependance on climatic conditions like temperature and air humidity for subsequent resin coatings.

Usage

Applied to SikaScreed® HardTop in a thin layer, Sikafloor®-140 W Troweling Primer enlarges the time window for overcoating with reactive flooring systems. Due to the chemical bond between substrate and coating, the peel adhesion is improved by a factor of approximately 10 in comparison with non-treated systems. Sikafloor®-140 W Troweling Primer is sprayed onto the surface of SikaScreed® HardTop immediately before starting smoothing the surface. It has to be well worked into the substrate.

Storage Conditions

Store in unopened, undamaged original packaging at temperatures between +10°C and +30°C. Beware from direct sunlight and frost. Shake well before use.

Application steps

MIXING

Stir part A and B well before mixing. Ad part A to part B and mix for approx. 2 minutes until a uniform mixture is achieved.
Important: Only mix as much material as can be applied within pot life!

APPLICATION

The pre-mixed product is sprayed onto the SikaScreed® HardTop surface with a pressure sprayer just before the start of smoothing the surface.

Avoid puddles on the surface.

Well smooth Sikafloor®-140 W Troweling Primer into the surface.
