Sika has triumphed at the prestigious FeRFA Awards Ceremony 2015, scooping three awards for their collaborative and impressive work on a range of resin flooring projects.
Held at the Belfry Hotel in Sutton Coldfield on Friday 27th November, the FeRFA Awards (The Resin Flooring Association) were hosted by Fred MacAulay and recognised outstanding workmanship, diversity and innovation shown by its members. In a competitive field of entries across six categories, Sika stood out against a wide range of top quality resin flooring projects.
In the hotly-contested Large Industrial Project of the Year Category, three of the four finalists were Sika projects. On the night, Sika’s collaboration with the IRL Group saw them win for their exemplary work on the Dove Nestle project while the company’s work with Zircon Flooring at the GE Energy plant, which saw the creation of an ultra-smooth floor, was highly commended.
For their partnership and the creation of a custom flooring solution at the new Coleshill School in Birmingham, Sika and contractor Zenith Pola took top honours in the Large Commercial Project of the Year.
Mark Bushell, Business Unit Manager, Sika Flooring commented:
"This was a fantastic night for Sika and the contractors we have worked with. We were delighted to have won these awards, which is testament to all the hard work of our employees and the high standards we deliver across the flooring industry."
With five projects nominated and three winners at one of the flooring industry’s most prestigious events, Sika has further enhanced its reputation for manufacture and supply of market leading flooring systems that set the highest standards.
