Two projects for which Sika supplied the successful flooring solution have been shortlisted for the FeRFA Resin Flooring Association Best Practice Awards.
Sika’s joint nomination with IRL Group in the Large Industrial Project of the Year category is for its products’ use during a floor refurbishment at a Willesden transport depot. The company is also shortlisted, along with Zircon Flooring for the Small Commercial Project of the year for the installation of a TV studio floor at Leeds University.

The FeRFA awards are revered throughout the industry, and this year take place at
St Johns Hotel in Solihull, Birmingham. The contest attracts entries nationwide, and with the shortlist featuring a range of high-quality resin flooring projects, the overall winners will have certainly earned the award.

INNOVATION
The company is also shortlisted, along with ACO Building Drainage, for new category this year the Innovation Award for its development of a testing rig that determines appropriate flooring for industrial areas.
This year’s FeRFA Resin Flooring Association Best Practice Awards take place on Friday, November 23rd at St Johns Hotel in Solihull, Birmingham. Former England rugby star Kyran Bracken will host the event, which includes a presentation of NVQ diplomas and certificates to FeRFA graduates.
