Nottingham
Sika has partnered with a leading UK house builder to deliver the external render for a mix of one, two and three-bedroom homes on Phase 1 of the new Beeston Canalside development in Nottingham.
The modern, affordable properties by Keepmoat, feature an off-white coloured SikaWall®-580 Monorex GM render that complements the contrasting lower brickwork and tile detailing on the facades. Meeting local demand for affordable homes, it was important to specify a high-quality render to provide both a protective and decorative scraped finish to the properties.
SikaWall®-580 Monorex GM is a through coloured, one coat, semi-lightweight render, available in a range of colours and manufactured by Sika in the U.K. Weather resistant and breathable, the render provides a durable solution to ensure the homes will maintain their clean, bright appearance for many years to come.
Nottingham-based contractor, The ALD Group, applied the render to the blockwork substrates using mechanical spray equipment to provide a faster and more consistent finish. All the Sika products, including TV10 reinforcement mesh, render beads and adhesive were sourced locally from stockist Rendit, ensuring quick availability to meet site demands.
Keepmoat Ltd is a top 10 UK house builder with a track-record of delivering quality homes across the UK. Their aim is to deliver more high-quality, multi-tenure new homes the UK needs, at prices people can afford. The homes at Beeston Canalside have been designed with energy-efficiency and sustainability in mind, offering a rare balance of urban living next to green spaces.
