Aliva® Equipment is a division of Sika AG in Switzerland. For more than half a century, Aliva® has been active in the field of Shotcrete as a specialist in designing and manufacturing robust and flexible rotary spray machines, concrete pumps, dosing units, telescopic spray booms and special Shotcrete spraying systems. The spray units are ideal for shaft sinking, in cycle shotcreting of smaller drift diameters and rehabilitation and refurbishment works. The equipment is designed for a modular build-up to serve each customers’ specific needs.


Rotor machines

By conveying through a rotor, the material is transported with pressurised air by the thin stream process to the spray nozzle, where it is mixed with water and any additives (e.g. accelerators) can be added. These Aliva® machines have sealing plates made from special steel and an automatic lubrication system that reduces wear and tear, and therefore also downtime and operational costs.

Sika Aliva® Shotcrete equipment is used in tunnelling and mining all over the globe. From small pilot tunnels to large highway tunnels, Deep Canadian cut and fill operations to narrow epithermal shrinkage operations in Mexico and Asia, Aliva® equipment is reliable wherever and whenever you need it. The equipment is designed to handle small to large excavation sections with shotcreting operations – both in conventional system excavation, TBM excavation or mining. The equipment can be used for dry and wet spraying.
