FAQ
At +20°C ambient and substrate temperature: foot traffic is possible after ~24 hours; light traffic after ~4 days; full cure in ~7 days. At lower temperatures the times increase: at +10 °C it can take ~72 hours for foot traffic and up to ~10 days full cure.
The substrate must be concrete or cement screed with moisture content not exceeding 4 % by weight, and no rising moisture. The ambient air and substrate temperatures must be between +10 °C and +30 °C and relative humidity at max 80%.
Key advantages include good chemical and mechanical resistance, a liquid-proof and gloss finish that’s easy to clean, plus slip resistance and rapid readiness for traffic. These properties make it especially suited to high-use industrial and storage environments.
Sikafloor MultiDur EB-14 Rapid can be installed as quickly and ready to use in as little as 24-48 hours depending on the size of the job and ambient conditions. Rapid repairs can be undertaken to prolong the use of the floor and be completed overnight.
Sikafloor® MultiDur EB-14 Rapid is a coloured, rigid epoxy flooring system designed for use on concrete and cement screeds with normal to medium-heavy wear, including loading ramps, maintenance workshops, multistorey car parks and wet process areas.
