5kg of powder yields approximately 3.36 litres of mortar.

• In warm conditions (i.e. +25 °C to +30 °C) use cold water to keep an acceptable working time. 
• In cold conditions (i.e. +5 °C to +8 °C) use warm water to accelerate the setting time of the mortar. 
• Only mix the amount of product that can be placed within 2 to 3 minutes. 
• Apply only to sound, prepared substrate. 
• Do not add water over the recommended dosage levels. 
• Do not add water to the mortar after the setting has started. 
• Do not add additional water during the surface finishing as this will cause discolouration and / or cracking. 
• Avoid application in direct sun and / or strong wind. 
• Protect freshly applied material from freezing. 

Sika MonoTop®-110 QuickFix can be mixed with a low speed hand drill mixer (<500 rpm). In small quantities, the Product can also be manually mixed.

Pour the recommended water in a suitable mixing container. While stirring slowly, add the powder to the water and mix thoroughly until a uniform consistency is achieved. Add additional water during mixing if necessary (up to the maximum specified amount) and adjust to the required consistency.

Make sure to only mix the amount of product that can be placed within 2 to 3 minutes.

Thoroughly pre-wet the prepared substrate until saturated surface dry (SSD). Before the application of the mortar, remove the excess of water with a clean sponge. The surface shall appear dark matt without glistening and surface pores and pits shall not contain any water.

Apply the Sika MonoTop®-110 QuickFix with a trowel or spatula. It has to be placed fast in the void to fill, exerting a good pressure between the substrate and the element to fix in order to ensure a good adhesion on both substrates. If used for bonding, hold / support the object to fix in place until the mortar starts setting and is able to withstand the load (in most instances, this will be around 2 to 3 minutes).

Protect the fresh mortar immediately from premature drying using an appropriate curing method (e.g. curing compound, moist geotextile membrane, polythene sheet, etc.). Do not use curing compounds if the mortar is to receive further materials (e.g. paint) as these may impair adhesion. 

Clean all tools and application equipment with water immediately after use. Hardened material can only be mechanically removed.
