Sikagard®-8500 CI

Independently verified, dual-phase, surface-applied corrosion inhibitor
  • 100% active ingredients. No diluents or fillers.
  • Easy to apply and quick-drying for fast installation.
  • Provides water repellent surface to prevent penetration of moisture and chlorides.
  • Reduces corrosion due to the 'ring anode' or 'halo effect'.
  • Suitable for use in new construction and repair applications.
  • Effective in chloride-contaminated and carbonated concrete to significantly slow down the rate of corrosion.
  • Latent-phase corrosion inhibitor activates if concrete cracks or if moisture penetrates the concrete, providing extended protection when it is most needed.
  • Vapour-permeable, to prevent moisture entrapment.
  • Effective in high humidity environments to mitigate corrosion of reinforcing steel.

Sikagard®-850 Clear

Permanent Clear Anti-graffiti and Anti-fly Poster Coating
  • Ready to use - no dilution with solvent necessary at the job site.
  • Permanent - graffiti can be typically removed more than 50 times without damaging the protection, or requiring a refresher coat, when using non-aggressive cleaning techniques.
 
  • Poster prevention – fly poster does not bond onto protected substrate or can be easily removed, even after many cleaning cycles.
  • Semi-matt aspect. Clear aspect when using the fair-faced concrete build-up.
  • No chemical agents required for cleaning.
  • Cleaning requires only cold-water pressure (80 to 100 bar) or cold-water low pressure washing and rubbing down with a clean cloth or scrubbing brush.
