FAQ
Yes. It is designed for outdoor and indoor car park ramps, withstanding vehicle shear, wheel spin, freezing/thaw cycles, and chemical exposure from de-icing salts or oils. Its waterproofing and crack-bridging properties protect the concrete substrate, ensuring durability and reduced maintenance costs.
Sikafloor® Pronto RB‑58 combines crack bridging, chemical and abrasion resistance, and waterproofing. It is solvent-free, semi-gloss, and slip-resistant, with rapid curing even at low temperatures, ensuring long-term performance in high-stress parking environments.
Installation involves a primer, fleece-reinforced base coat, wearing coat with quartz broadcast, and top coat. Applied at 4–6 mm thickness, it adheres to concrete or asphalt surfaces, ensuring waterproofing, mechanical durability, and a slip-resistant finish suitable for inclined car park surfaces.
This system provides excellent crack-bridging (up to 0.5 mm), slip resistance, and rapid curing, minimising downtime. Its waterproof, chemical-resistant finish protects ramp decks from oil, de-icing salts, and weather, making it perfect for heavily trafficked parking ramps and top decks.
Sikafloor Pronto RB‑58 is a fast‑curing, highly crack‑bridging waterproofing & wearing system for flooring. It’s designed for traffic‑exposed areas such as multi‑storey car park ramps, top decks, intermediate decks and turning zones where slabs are subject to heavy loading, mechanical wear and occasional movement.
Its advantages include very fast curing even at low temperatures, good abrasion resistance, good mechanical and chemical resistance, and it is solvent-free. It is also suitable for concrete and asphalt surfaces with special treatment.
The product allows for very fast return to use. For foot traffic, it can be ready in approximately 30-50 minutes, and for full traffic, it can be ready in approximately 1-2 hours, depending on the temperature.
Sikafloor® Pronto RB-58 provides a slip-resistant semi-gloss finish. It is available in various seal/top coat colors such as ~RAL 3003, RAL 5010, RAL 6010, RAL7011, RAL7032, and RAL7037.
It is suitable for indoor and outdoor trafficable, slip-resistant wearing layers, particularly for concrete and asphalt multi-storey and underground car-parks, top and intermediate decks, turning areas, and ramps.
Sikafloor® Pronto RB-58 is a slip-resistant, fast-curing, highly crack-bridging, waterproofing, colored floor covering based on reactive acrylic resins. It offers dynamic crack bridging up to 0.5mm (class B 4.2 at -20°C) and is waterproof.
To waterproof a car park top deck, prepare the concrete, prime, and apply a trafficable membrane. Sikafloor® Pronto RB-58 is ideal: a fast-curing, crack bridging, UV-resistant, and hard-wearing system. It provides excellent waterproofing, abrasion resistance, and slip resistance, with a durable finish that withstands heavy vehicle traffic and harsh weather exposure.
