Sikagard®-850 Primer is a one-part, ready-to-use primer for Sikagard®-850 Clear on uncoated mineral substrates to improve the application and adhesion. This product is part of the Sikagard Anti-graffiti System.

Usage

  • Wait until the surface is tack free.

Consumption is dependant of the porosity of the substrate; as a guide:

 ~75 g/m2 to 125 g/m2
Application steps

APPLICATION

Strictly follow installation procedures as defined in method statements, application manuals and working instructions, which must always be adjusted to the actual site conditions.

IMPORTANT

On rough substrates, use a brush to apply primer and make sure the primer covers all the surface, including voids.

Note: To prevent air bubbles affecting the finish, do not 'over' brush or roll it.

Apply Sikagard®-850 Primer evenly over the prepared coating with a brush or long hair roller at the required consumption rate.

CLEANING OF TOOLS

Clean all tools and application equipment with white spirit immediately after use. Hardened material can only be mechanically removed.
