Joined by some of our valued customers, the Sika roofing team attended the Liquid Roofing & Waterproofing Association (LRWA) Awards at the Titanic Hotel in Liverpool on the 20th March as the Headline Sponsor and left the event as proud winners and finalists!
Paul Mahon Received a Roofing Industry Recognition as 'Special Recognition of Excellence to Training' at the LRWA Awards. Paul has been an integral part of the team since joining Sika in 2008, working his way up to Training Manager last year. Over that time Paul has trained over 7,400 individuals, an impressive number. The Sika ‘Wolf Pack’ proudly stepped up on stage to receive their award for the LRWA Team Challenge 2023. This was the second year in a row that they had won the Liquid Roofing and Waterproofing Association (LRWA)’s Charity Team Challeng, raising almost £10k for Land Aid!
Alongside Cambridge Flat Roofing, Sika were also announced as winners of the ‘Liquid Roofing Project Of The Year >1000㎡’ for the West Suffolk Hospital project. An outstanding project!
Sika were also shortlisted alongside Everlast Rail for the Carpenders Park & South Kempton Stations project and Nautilus Roofing & Exteriors for their project at Madley Communication Centre. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a win this year, but fantastic projects to gain shortlist recognition.
