Paved Blue Roofs
A paved blue roof is a type of blue roof system in which stormwater retention is provided beneath or around rooftop paving elements, such as concrete or stone pavers installed on pedestals. While still functioning as a blue roof, its storage layer sits under the paved surface, allowing the roof to temporarily hold rainwater and then release it slowly through controlled drainage.
