To create a Sika® RetentionRoof Blue Roof requires a range of components that accommodate the loading of the surface finishes, typically a green roof or hard landscaping, whilst attenuating incident rainfall as part of a Sustainable Urban Drainage (SuDS) strategy. These products all fall within the Sika® NatureRoof product offer and guarantee.
Water Retention Boxes
SikaRoof® Retention Boxes provide attenuation of rainfall as part of a Sika® RetentionRoof Blue Roof System. Manufactured from either recycled HDPE or recycled PP, the boxes come in a range of designs that create a water attenuation void beneath the roof surface finish.
Available in 30mm, 60mm, 80mm, 85mm, 95mm and 170mm deep options that can be stacked. There is also an option for water retention on 15 to 30° roof pitches.
Flow Control Device
SikaRoof® Retention Flow Control Devices are shaped like inspection chambers. They provide either mechanical or electrical limitations to the flow rate of rainwater through a rainwater outlet and control discharge rates to meet designed limited discharge rates.
