Sika is proud to announce that two of its projects along with partners Permicoat Ltd and Central Group, have been honoured with top accolades at the Liquid Roofing and Waterproofing Association (LRWA) Awards 2025.

The LRWA Awards celebrate excellence and innovation in the liquid roofing and waterproofing industry, recognising projects that demonstrate exceptional standards in workmanship and design. This year, a total of 23 projects were shortlisted across five categories, reflecting the dynamicand competitive nature of the industry.

The awards ceremony took place at the iconic Titanic Hotel in Liverpool’s Stanley Dock. Permicoat Ltd and Sika secured the Liquid Waterproofing Project of the Year under 1000m2 for their exemplary work on the Turner Street Residential project. This achievement underscores Sika’s and Permicoat Ltd’s commitment to excellence and innovation in the field of liquid waterproofing.

Central Group was awarded the Liquid Waterproofing Project of the Year over 1000m2 alongside Sika for the outstanding execution of the Center Parcs, Whinfell Forest project. This recognition highlights Central Group and Sika’s Roofing Division dedication to delivering high-quality waterproofing solutions at a larger scale.

In addition to the project awards, the LRWA also recognised outstanding charitable efforts within the industry. At the same ceremony, Sika was honoured with the LRWA Charity Team Challenge Award, demonstrating its commitment to giving back to the community. The charity challenge, now in its fifth year, invites teams to walk, run, cycle or swim as far as they can in 30 minutes to achieve the highest number of kilometres. Sika’s Roofing Team took home the gold award, with Jon Shum, Marketing Development Manager, clocking the highest number of kilometres on an outdoor bike and teammate Max Colligan, Head of Major Projects,  running the longest distance.
