Sikalastic®-800 HA
Sikalastic®-800 HA is a two component, solvent free, highly elastic, low odour polyurea hybrid waterproofing membrane.
Due to its self-levelling properties Sikalastic®-800 HA is ideal for applications on protected podium decks and will provide a jointless surface, fully bonded, with crack bridging abilities.
- Cold applied, self levelling behaviour
- Desired thickness in one layer application
- Low odour product during and after the application
- High flexibility
- May be combined with Sika Extender T for vertical applications
- Can be covered with an aliphatic top coat for exposed applications
- Good adhesion to most substrates
Usage
- Sikalastic®-800 HA can be hand applied by notched rubber or metal squeegees to obtain the desired thickness
- Sikalastic®-800 HA is a flexible elastomeric product with crack bridging properties
- Sikalastic®-800 HA is an economic waterproofing solution. Smaller areas up to 150 m2 can be coated without the need for application machinery

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
Substrate Pre-Treatment
Surface defects should be repaired with appropriate scratch coat materials. See method statement.
Substrate | Primer |
Cementitious substrates | Sikalastic® Primer-01. Sika® Concrete Primer or Sikafloor®-151 lightly broadcast with quartz sand, 0.3–0.8 mm (Sikafloor®-151 only) |
Metals and Ferrous or galvanised metals or stainless steel | Sikalastic® Metal Primer |
For the consumption rates and waiting time / overcoating please refer to the PDS of the appropriate primer. Other substrates must be tested for their compatibility. If in doubt, apply a test area first.
Sika highly recommend double priming substrates before application of Sikalastic®-800 HA.
The surface must be sound, of sufficient strength, clean, dry and free of dirt, oil, grease and other contamination. Depending on the material the substrate must be primed or mechanically cleaned. Grinding may be necessary to level the surface. Suitable substrates are concrete, metal and brickwork.
For detailed information on Substrate Preparation refer to the Sikalastic®-800 HA Method Statement.
MIXING
Prior to mixing, stir Part A mechanically. When all of Part A has been added to Part B, mix continuously for 2 minutes until a uniform mix has been achieved. To ensure thorough mixing pour materials into another container and mix again to achieve a consistent mix. Over mixing must be avoided to minimise air entrainment.
Mixing Tools:
Sikalastic®-800 HA must be thoroughly mixed using a low speed electric stirrer (300 - 400 rpm) or other suitable equipment.
