Imperial College London is developing its campus at White City, 23-acres located on Wood Lane, London. The enabling works package, currently under delivery by Careys as principal contractor, includes a new bridge over the adjacent LUL Central Line and a buried basement that will eventually be part of a subterranean road network serving basements to be constructed in future phases. Operating alongside the designer, Waterman Structures, the Careys team needed a total solution that could work for Imperial.

As part of a new residential scheme in London, 120 private dwellings are planned, plus the restoration and re-purposing of a Grade II listed building into a high-spec Leisure Community Hub.

Sika’s provision of a waterproofing solution for a high-end commercial refurbishment ensured the valuable building’s long-term protection against water ingress.

For the transformation of commercial below ground coal vaults into modern storage spaces a proven waterproof system was required to eliminate the long-term threat of ingress.

In Q4 2019 Renderseal Ltd worked alongside main contractor, Crystal Clear Building Solutions, to waterproof a basement and swimming pool at a property on Beltane Drive, Wimbledon. This was an extension project of approx. 250m2.

Renderseal Ltd specified Sika’s waterproofing products as the ideal solution for a newly constructed lift pit in new build apartments in Ruislip.

The Manchester Engineering Campus Development at a cost of around 400 Million GBP, is a seven-year project that will deliver a new home for engineering at The University of Manchester.
