SikaShield® Hot Melt Root Barrier

SBS MODIFIED BITUMINOUS ROOT RESISTANT PROTECTION MEMBRANE

SikaShield® Hot Melt Root Barrier is a specially formulated SBS modified bituminous protection membrane, reinforced with polyester and incorporating a root retardant compound.

Usage

SikaShield® Hot Melt Root Barrier is installed as a root barrier in a hot melt structural waterproofing system, providing a robust waterproofing solution.

Application steps

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

SikaBit® E50G MG RT UK is laid over the final layer of SikaBit® Hot Melt 50/70 whilst it is still warm and tacky. There must be a minimum of 100mm laps. Strictly follow Sika Limited installation procedures as defined in specifications, application manuals and working instructions which must always be adjusted to the actual site conditions.
