SikaRoof® Adhesive 510 Spray

Polyurethane spray applied adhesive for Sikaplan® SGK membrane.

SikaRoof® Adhesive 510 Spray is a 1-part, polyurethane based, moisture-curing, spray applied contact adhesive in a pressurised canister system.

  • Quick application using pressurised canister and spray gun
  • Less wastage of adhesive due to pressurised container
  • One way stick (one coat)
  • Good adhesion

Usage

Sprayable adhesive to bond Sikaplan® SGK membrane to suitable substrates:
  • PIR/MW insulation boards with lamination (glass or mineral fibre faced)
  • Aged slated/mineralized bitumen
  • Any other substrates must be tested

Packaging

Single pressurised steel canister 22.1kg (Adhesive 16kg) in cardboard box 320 mm × 320 mm × 460 mm.

12 months from date of production

Storage Conditions

The product must be stored in original, unopened and undamaged sealed packaging in dry conditions at temperatures between +5 °C and +25 °C. Always refer to packaging.
System information

Compatibility

Not compatible in direct contact with EPS/XPS insulation boards, copper plate, new bituminous substrates, non-fleece waterproofing membranes (thermoplastics/elastomers).

Consumption

One single canister covers approx. 150m2 These figures are theoretical and do not allow for any additional material due to surface porosity, surface profile, variations in level, wastage or any other variations/influences. Apply product to a test area to calculate the exact consumption for the specific substrate and site conditions.

SUBSTRATE QUALITY

The substrates must be suitable, solvent resistant, uniform, firm, clean, dry, free of grease, bitumen, oil, dust and loose particles.
