Sika Registered Roofing Contractors
To support consistent and high-quality installation of Sika roofing systems, we operate a Registered Roofing Contractor Scheme. Installers working with Sika products are required to complete both theoretical and practical training delivered by Sika at one of our dedicated training academies.
This training includes:
- Demonstrations and practical assessments of installation techniques and detailing methods.
- Guidance aligned with current UK Building Regulations, British Standards, and relevant roofing association recommendations.

Systems Guarantees
Sika Roofing offers guarantees that vary in duration and scope depending on the roofing system selected and the contractor involved. These guarantees range from 10 to 30 years, with financial cover of up to £500,000 per guarantee. Our premium guarantee option also includes contractor insolvency cover, providing additional assurance for customers.

Site Support and Quality Monitoring
Sika Roofing conducts site inspections during installation. These are carried out by our team of Site Support Engineers, who: Monitor adherence to the project specification and installation guidelines. Provide technical advice and support for complex site conditions. Help ensure installations meet the required standards for guarantee eligibility.
Contractor Vetting and Training
Contractors seeking registration with Sika undergo a structured process that includes:
- Initial vetting and capability assessment.
- Completion of Sika’s training programme.
- Ongoing mentoring and performance review.
Only contractors who meet these criteria are authorised to install Sika roofing systems and offer associated guarantees.
