Sikafloor® Proseal Pro

Curing and sealing compound for concrete floors

Sikafloor® Proseal Pro is a one-part, low odour, clear, acrylic resin polymer solution used to cure, harden and seal fresh or hardened concrete.

Usage

Sikafloor® Proseal Pro may only be used by experienced professionals. Sikafloor® Proseal Pro is used for curing and sealing of fresh concrete floors. Provides curing and sealing for Sikafloor® dry shake hardeners (i.e. Sikafloor®-3 QuartzTop, Sikafloor®-2 SynTop, Sikafloor®-1 MetalTop and Sikafloor®-FibreShield). Suitable for exterior and interior application.

0.1 - 0.2 l/m2/coat (5 - 10 m2/l/coat).

To conform with ASTM C-309, ensure a total of 0.2 l/m2 is applied.

Application steps

MIXING

Sikafloor® Proseal Pro is supplied ready for use. Stir thoroughly before use.

Prior to use, mix for 2 minutes with an electric stirrer with low speed (~ 300 rpm).

APPLICATION

For fresh concrete, apply immediately after finishing techniques have been completed. Apply in a continuous even film by low-pressure spray unit. The suitability of spraying equipment must be confirmed by trials. Application is also possible by brush or roller. To achieve the highest visual aesthetics and performance, a second coat is recommended. Wait for first coat to dry tack-free before applying a second coat.

CLEANING OF TOOLS

Clean all tools and application equipment with Sika® Thinner C immediately after use. Hardened / cured material can only be removed mechanically.
