Sika® FloorJoint PDRS

CARBON FIBRE PREFABRICATED FLOOR JOINT PANEL WITH INTEGRAL SEAL FOR CAR PARKS

Sika® FloorJoint PDRS is a carbon fibre reinforced polymer (CFRP) composite , prefabricated, floor joint panel with integral replaceable rubber seal and high mechanical resistance. It's concentric integral rubber seal allows low vibrations under direct car traffic.  Suitable for concrete slab vertical and horizontal movement. Gap widths: 0–50mm. Vertical movement: 30 mm. Sika® FloorJoint PDRS is the main part of the Sika® FloorJoint PB-30 PDRS System.

Usage

  • Floor joint panel for new build and refurbished joints in concrete / concrete screeds in:
  • Inner and outer zones of car park decks and ramps

Storage Conditions

The product must be stored in original, unopened and undamaged sealed packaging in dry conditions at temperatures between +5 °C and +30 °C and must always be stored in the horizontal position in order to avoid bending.  Always refer to packaging.

  1. Width of the gap in the concrete below Sika® floor Joint panel during installation.
  2. Positive horizontal joint movement is the amount the gap can horizontally open, compared to its original width during installation of Sika® FloorJoint PDRS.
  3. Negative horizontal joint movement is the amount the gap can horizontally close, compared to its original width during installation of Sika® FloorJoint PDRS
  4. Positive vertical joint movement is the amount the gap can vertically open, compared to its original gap during installation of Sika® FloorJoint PDRS.
  5. Negative vertical joint movement is the amount the gap can vertically close, compared to its original gap during installation of Sika® FloorJoint PDRS.


Note: To provide a waterproof joint, first, install Sikadur® Combiflex® SG System below the Sika® FloorJoint PDRS.

Dew Point

Beware of condensation!
The substrate and uncured floor must be at least 3 °C above dew point to reduce the risk of condensation or blooming on the floor finish.

Substrate Temperature

The ideal installation temperature is approx. +15 °C min. / +25 °C max.
Refer to the product data sheet of the individual product for specific information.

Substrate Moisture Content

<4 % parts by weight
Test method: Sika Tramex Meter, CM-measurement or oven-dry-method. No rising moisture according to ASTM (Polyethylene-sheet).
Consumption

Consumption

1 panel consisiting out of two pieces of polymer panels and the ruber seal for total length of 1.2 linear metre.
