Sika® Ucrete® Accelerator

Fast cure additive for Sika® Ucrete® flooring systems

Sika® Ucrete® Accelerator is a fast cure additive used with Sika® Ucrete® flooring products. It reduces the return to traffic times of Sika® Ucrete® flooring grades without compromising the floors physical or aesthetic properties. It can be used across a range of temperatures and enables refurbishment and repair projects to be completed quickly.

  • Suitable for application on to 7-day-old concrete and 3-day-old polymer screed

Usage

Sika® Ucrete® Accelerator is used within wet and dry process areas including the following application areas:
  • Food and beverage facilities
  • Pharmaceutical facilities
  • Chemical and processing facilities
  • Manufacturing facilities and workshops

Shelf Life

Always refer to the best-before date of the individual packaging.

Storage Conditions

The Product must be stored in original, unopened and undamaged sealed packaging in dry conditions at temperatures between +5 °C and +30 °C. Always refer to the packaging.

Dew Point

Beware of condensation. The substrate and uncured applied product must be at least +3 °C above the dew point to reduce the risk of condensation or blooming on the surface of the applied product. Low temperatures and high humidity conditions increase the probability of blooming.

Application steps

MIXING

  1. Select the required dosage according to the temperature and the flooring grade being used.
  2. Measure the dosage accurately with suitable measuring cup. Note Where possible the measuring cup should be the volume of the require dosage.
  3. For maximum working time add the Sika® Ucrete® Accelerator at the end of the liquid mixing phase.
  4. Add the powder to the mixer and mix for between 5 and 10 seconds.

APPLICATION

Application must be undertaken by a fully trained and licensed Sika® Ucrete® applicator.
