Sika has developed Decothane Ultra, a low odour waterproofing system for flat roofs. The product has undergone sensory testing by Olfasense, with results available upon request, to support its suitability for use in environments where odour sensitivity is a consideration.
Decothane Ultra may be considered for use on sites such as healthcare facilities, food production areas, and educational buildings, subject to project-specific risk assessments and installation conditions.

Decothane Ultra
Sika has been manufacturing liquid-applied waterproofing systems for over 50 years. Decothane Ultra is a single-component polyurethanecoating designed for use on flat roofs.
The product is cold-applied and cures to form a continuous waterproof membrane. Under standard application conditions of +5°C and rising, it can become resistant to rain damage in as little as 1 hour.
Decothane Ultra has been used in a range of refurbishment and new-build projects. Performance data, including curing time, rain resistance, and membrane integrity, is available upon request and supported by dated test reports.
The system may be considered for use in projects requiring liquid waterproofing solutions, including those with detailing complexity. Guidance on installation, substrate preparation, and maintenance is available to support correct application and long-term performance.
