INTRODUCTION

By participating in the competition, you are agreeing to the competition terms and conditions as outlined below.   

The promoter is Sika Limited (the “Promoter”), Watchmead Welwyn Garden City Hertfordshire AL7 1BQ.  

These terms and conditions are governed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. 
 
     ELIGIBILITY TO ENTER 

  1. The competition is open to entrants over 18 years of age. 
  2. This competition is open to attendees of Foodex Manufacturing Solutions 2025 (“Foodex”) at the National Exhibition Centre (“NEC”), Birmingham, B40 1NT with the exception of employees of the Promoter, their families, agents and anyone else connected with this promotion and will run from 7th – 9th April 2025.  
  3. By entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and that you are eligible to receive any prizes that may be awarded to you. 
  4. There is a limit of one entry per person and the competition is completely free to enter. 
  5. To ensure eligibility the winner will consent to an Asset Evaluation Report to ascertain the suitability of the required product in the desired area. 
     
    THE COMPETITION 

  6. No purchase is necessary to enter this competition. 
  7. There can only be one entry per person.  
  8. To enter this competition, fill in your details as directed on the stand G121 at the NEC during the event. 
     
    THE PRIZE 

  9. The winning prize is 250sqmetres of a Sika Flooring Product (material only). Colour of winner’s choosing. 
  10. The prize can only be applied by a Contractor eligible to apply Sika Flooring products.  In the case of Sika Ucrete they must be a Sika Ucrete Licensed Applicator. 
  11. The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable, and no cash alternatives will be provided. 
  12. The winner must agree to an Asset Evaluation Report in order to survey and agree the designated area is suitable for application. 
  13. Prizes are subject to availability. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right (a) to substitute alternative prizes of equivalent or greater value and (b) in exceptional circumstances to amend or foreclose the promotion without notice. No correspondence will be entered into. 
  14. Sika’s decision on any aspect of the competition is final and binding, with no opportunity for appeal or further discussion. 
     
    WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT 

  15. The winner will be chosen from the correct entries at random (if there is more than one correct entry) and notified via the email address provided no later than Friday 16th April 2025. 
  16. The winners must claim their prize within 30 working days of the Promoter sending notification. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with these rules. 
  17. The prize must be claimed before 31st December 2025. Failure to redeem the prize within this timeframe will result in forfeiture, and no alternative or cash equivalent will be provided.  
  18. Sika accepts no responsibility for any entries that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted or fail to reach the Promoter by the relevant closing date for any reason. Entries become the property of the Promoter and are not returned. 
  19. To obtain details of the winner please email constructionsolutions@uk.sika.com stating the name of the prize draw in the subject heading within 4 weeks after the closing date. 
     
    PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITY 

  20. The Promoter will use any data submitted by entrants only for the purposes of running the prize draw, unless otherwise stated in the entry details. By entering this competition, all entrants consent to the use of their personal data by the Promoter for the purposes of the administration of this prize draw and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented. 
  21. The winners agree to take part in reasonable post event publicity and to the use of their names and photographs in such publicity. 
  22. Promoter may disqualify any entrant whose entry does not comply with these terms and conditions (in Promoter’s sole opinion) or who, in Promoter’s sole determination, has acted in a manner that is fraudulent, dishonest or unjust to other entrants including, without limitation, tampering with the operation of the prize draw, manipulating or rigging votes, hacking, deceiving, cheating or by harassing or threatening other entrants or a representative of Promoter. 
  23. By entering this competition each entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
