We’re proud to share that Sika UK has been awarded Business of the Year – Medium to Large at the Inspiring Hertfordshire Awards 2025, hosted by the Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce.
Held at Tewinbury Farm Hotel on Thursday 26th June, this year’s awards celebrated the organisations and individuals making a significant impact across the region. The recognition reflects the dedication, innovation and ambition that drive our business forward every day.
Recognised for Strategic Growth and Resilience
The judges commended our clear vision, bold goals, and resilience in navigating industry-wide challenges. They noted our success in national infrastructure projects and praised our ability to adapt and grow—particularly through strategic acquisitions and a strong, diversified offering.
“Sika is a shining example of a business that combines scale with agility. Their commitment to growth, strategic use of acquisitions, and ability to lead on national infrastructure projects make them a cornerstone of Hertfordshire’s economic strength,” said Donna Schultz, CEO of the Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce.
Being recognised in this way affirms our continued focus on delivering value to our customers, partners, and the wider community through high-quality solutions and long-term thinking.

Championing the Next Generation
We were also proud to support the “Apprentice of the Year” category as a sponsor—an award that aligns closely with our values around skills development and investing in the future of our industry. A standout moment for us was seeing Sam Williams, a former apprentice, present the award to Dean Vaughan from SEC Group.
It was a powerful reminder of how vital apprenticeships are in building a strong and sustainable workforce.
Looking Forward
Winning Business of the Year is a milestone that belongs to everyone across Sika UK. It reflects the hard work, expertise, and shared purpose that continue to push us forward.
We’re incredibly grateful to the Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce for this recognition and congratulate all of this year’s finalists and winners.
We’re excited about what’s ahead—and committed to building on this momentum.
